For ease of carrying and transportation, the Griff®-Sharp also has an upper handle from the body of the container.
To open: Turn the circular lid in the direction of the arrow to the maximum opening point. To close, carry out the same operation in the opposite direction, AWAY from the danger.
The Bio-Compact sharps container has been specifically made for the safe storage and disposal of unwanted sharps.
The range comes in four sizes and three colours, yellow, red and blue.
To facilitate the extraction of needles (Vacutainer and Venojet) a simple access has been implemented to enable ambidextrous use. Both the 5 and 10 litre sizes offer a two closure system – the first a provisional closure (to prevent smells escaping), and the second definitive closure to ensure that contents are water and airtight. Its practical opening and closing system makes it easy to use, with just the pressure of a single finger.
This range provides a safe and effective method for the containment of sharp infectious waste. The rigid polypropylene construction is puncture, fluid, impact and solvent resistant.
For fastenings a bar support and a table top support are available.
