SaphenaMEDICAL® Anti-Embolism Stockings
achieves 510k approval G&N Medical has received section 510k approval from the US Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) to market its SaphenaMEDICAL® anti-embolism stockings in the USA. The endorsement comes just four years after Vascular Surgeons and Scientists at
University College London developed the distinctive dark blue stockings, whose unique features have lead to rapid growth in their usage at UK hospitals for the
prevention of peri-operative Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
